Man To PD: I'm Growing Marijuana - Man Asks How Much Trouble He'd Get In For Growing One Plant
FARMINGTON, Conn. - A man who dialed 911 to ask Farmington police to how much trouble he’d get in by growing one marijuana plant has been arrested. Farmington police said the call came into dispatch about 8 p.m. Thursday. When the dispatcher told the man he could get arrested, the caller said thank you and hung up, according to police. Police traced the call to 192 Waterville Road in Farmington. Narcotics officers went to scene and discovered the man was growing marijuana, according to police. Police said Robert Michelson admitted spending a lot of money on line buying everything he needed to grow marijuana, including the seeds. Narcotics officers seized from the scene a small amount of marijuana and numerous items of drug paraphernalia for growing and smoking marijuana. Police said Michelson was released on bond.

N.C. man calls 911 to request prostitute, arrest report shows

LEXINGTON, N.C. — A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged with calling 911 to request a hooker, according to an arrest report obtained by the Lexington Dispatch.
Records show Lonnie Michael Felts called 911 three times on Sunday. The first time he called, he requested “a hooker and an escort to get boots,” the arrestb report showed, according to the Dispatch. After an officer warned Felts about misusing the system, he made two more calls, the newspaper reported. On the third, “Felts called on 911 again for a non-emergency domestic escort,” the Dispatch reported. According to the arrest report, Felts was under the influence of drugs, alcohol or both when the incident happened. He's been charged with accessing the 911 system for a purpose other than an emergency communication.
